Tom Delgado, MFA
Tom serves as the technical director and resident lighting designer for the Theater Studies program. He is also a technical director with Yale College Undergraduate Production. Tom most enjoys being a part of the growth and evolution of inspired senior projects, and the artistic collaborations with the Theater Studies faculty. Tom also does freelance work as a lighting designer and technical director. Recent credits include Coriolanus, Perestroika, Adding Machine, Twelfth Night, and Macbeth. Prior to his current position with Theater Studies, Tom spent several years as a theater educator and stage director. He is especially proud of his former students who now have professional careers in theater.
Tom received his BA from the University of Utah and MFA from the Yale School of Drama. He returns to Connecticut from Utah with his wife and life companion, Darla. His interests include cycling, baseball, gardening, charity rides, and spending time with his family.
